Piggy Boy

When I saw this sweet digital image from Lee Holland Art, I knew I had to get it so I could make a Valentine's day card for my daughter.    I was also able to use my Scan N Cut to cut the postage stamp die cut and the X & O's.

My daughter had a pig stuffed animal, creatively named "Piggy Boy", that she took with her everywhere when she was young.  I tried to find some photos, but you know how it is, you can never find what you are looking for.   Here are a couple of L an Piggy Boy (although not the best photos).

Thank you for stopping by!

Tons of Love

I used my new Scan N Cut to create the die cut background for this card.   I purchased the Heart Group Background file from PagebyPaige on Etsy.  It was the first time I used a die cut like this so I had a little trouble getting it all glued down.

The cute little elephant image is from Lee Holland Art.

Thank you for stopping by!

Cute Fox

I can't wait until spring.  We have had so much snow and cold lately.  I'm tired of being cooped up in my house.  I think the two things I miss the most are taking my dogs for long walks (and not having to clean them afterward) and meeting my girl friends for outdoor (socially distanced) coffee dates.  I miss chatting with my friends!  I'm a little jealous of this little fox meeting his friend for a chat.

For a little added texture I die cut a Starbucks coffee cup sleeve.  (Maybe it was saved during one of the coffee chats with my friends...)

I hope you have a great day!  Thank you for stopping by my blog.

Bunny Blowing Kisses

Hello!  I have a couple of  Valentine's Day cards to share today.  I usually only make two cards for Valentine's day but this year my list has expanded.  With every one so isolated, I have a much bigger list of people to send cards to in an effort to spread a little cheer.

The layout of the first card is my usual style / comfort zone.  Layers, designer papers, stitching...

For the second card, I tried to step out of my comfort zone and create a CAS card.  I don't know if this is considered CAS because there is still a lot going on but it was fun to try something a little different.

Which do you like better?

Thank you for stopping by.  Have a great day!
