Snowboy Spinner Card

Hello!  I hope this post finds you well.  I tried something new with this card.  It has a spinner on the inside.   I inserted a video of the spinner in action below.  I hope it works (another first for me)!

I used an old digital stamp from Whimsie Doodles.  I really loved their images and am sad that they closed.

This is a photo of the inside with sentiments from Paper Trey.

And hopefully the video below shows the spinner in action!

Thank you for stopping by my blog.  I hope you have a fabulous day!

  • Stamps:  Snowboy with Star by Whimsie Doodles
  • Papers:  Echo Park Christmas This & That 6x6 paper pad, Georgia Pacific white card stock, Papertrey Ink kraft paper, Bazzill Basics red cardstock

Zombie Girl

I wanted to try my hand at coloring something a little bit different.  I decided to use Halloween as an opportunity to try to color green-ish skin.  I found this old image from Whimsie Doodles in my files and thought she would be perfect.

I made another card a few weeks ago that I was going to send my daughter but I think I might send her this one instead.   I think she would like this zombie more.

Thank you for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Supplies:

  • Digital Stamp:  Zombie Love - Whimsie Doodles Digital Stamps
  • Paper:  Echo Park Happy Halloween, Classic Crest Solar White card stock, Pop Tone Black Licorice card stock

Sentimental Sundays–Halloween

It’s Sunday so it is time for another Sentimental Sundays challenge. The theme for our challenge this week is “Halloween” – don’t forget to include a sentiment.

The challenge sponsor, Whimsie Doodles, was kind enough to give the DT some images to use for the challenge. When I saw this image, I wanted to try to make a shaped card.

Stop by the Sentimental Sundays blog to see the creations from the rest of the DT. Link up your card for a chance to win the prize from Whimsie Doodles.

This challenge is a bit sad for me as it will be my last challenge as a member of the Sentimental Sundays team. The DT is a wonderful group of ladies and I have really enjoyed working with them.

Thank you for stopping by!

Sentimental Sundays - Challenge 31: A Recipe

It's Sunday so that means it is time for the new Sentimental Sunday challenge. This week we have a recipe challenge for you. We want to see your creation with 3 designer papers, 3 buttons, and a ribbon (plus a sentiment). You are free to add anything else you would like to your project as long as it includes these elements.

So here is a look at my project.

On Friday you learned of my weakness for snowmen. As soon as I saw these cute new snowmen from Whimsie Doodles I had to purchase some of them. I think I will be back to get the rest soon. (You just can't have too many cute snowmen digis.)

Once again, I made my own crinkle ribbon by coloring seam binding with my Copic markers. For more info and tips on how to do this, please see my post from Friday.

I hope you will join the Sentimental Sundays recipe challenge this week for your chance to win 4 digital sentiments sets from Raindrop Echo Designs. If you stop by the Sentimental Sundays blog, be sure top download the free weekly sentiment digis available for one week only.
