Sending Love Your Way

Hello!  I'm still working on Valentine's Day cards.  This year I am planning on mailing more cards than usual to friends and family that I am not able to regularly see due to COVID.

I used this cute bear from Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios to quickly make 5 cards.   The bear is colored with Copic markers and the hear was paper pieced.

I rubbed with reverse side of the hears with my embossing stylus and used dimensional tape to give the heart dimension.

The design of all the cards is the same.  Paint spatter, sequins, and hearts left from cutting the boarder were used as embellishment.

Thank you for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Santa Boy

Hello!  I hope you are doing well. I have more Christmas cards to share with you today.  Both cards are similar, using the same image and papers, but have slightly different layouts.

On both cards I used found die cut vellum snowflakes and punched/cut borders that I found in my bin of unused die cuts.  The border on the one above was cut from a coffee sleeve and is actually what was left of the piece after the die cut.

I think I am almost ready for Christmas.  I have mailed most of my cards and I have finished Christmas shopping.  I only have a few gifts left to wrap.  How are your holiday preparations going?

Thank you for stopping by!

Fall Dance

Hello!  Today I wanted to share a card that I made using Fall Dance digital stamp from Rachelle Anne Miller Creative Studios.  I love this image.  It is another one that reminds me of my daughter when she was younger.

Today was a beautiful autumn day.  It was a little cool but the sun was out this morning. The leaves are beautiful.  My husband and I took our dogs to our local park for a walk and saw a bald eagle.  We don't see too many of those around here so it was kind of exciting.

I hope you have a great day!  Thank you for stopping by.

Cute Trick or Treaters

Hello!  I think autumn is here.  We have had to turn on the heat and I've been cold when walking the dogs.  Our town has not cancelled Trick or Treat but I'm not sure how it will work with COVID.  I have stayed strong and haven't purchased any candy yet.   I know if it is in the house I will eat it.

To get in the autumn / Halloween mood, I spent some time in my craft room making a Halloween card last night.  I enjoyed coloring this cute image.  I actually printed two with the intent of making two cards, but somehow I messed up coloring the second image.    This is the first time I tried coloring a night scene.  I don't think the highlighting or the background are right, but its okay for a first attempt.

Later this month, I will send this card to my daughter who is away at college.  I miss having her at home and worry about her with all the news stories about the increasing rates of COVID infection on university campuses.

I want to make a few more Halloween cards to send to family and friends this year.  I hope I have time to work on them this weekend.

Thank you for stopping by!  Have a great day!

When Snow Falls...

The September challenge at the Rachelle Anne Miller Facebook group is "Use Pattern Paper".  For this card I squeezed in 5 different pieces of patterned paper.

I recently discovered Rachelle Anne Miller's images and immediately loved them.  The little girl reminds me of my daughter when she was young.

Thank you so much for stopping by!  I hope you have a great day.

Birthday Parade

Today I have a birthday card made using Animal Parade by Rachelle Anne Miller.  Since most of the birthday cards in my stash are feminine, I tried to make one that would be suitable for boys or men.

I don't have much to chat about.  My daughter Liz earned her EMT certification this past week.  Next week she leaves to go to UW-Green Bay to start working her way to be a surgeon.  I'm a bit nervous about my baby leaving the nest, especially with COVID.    Other than that I am lucky that I love my job and my company is doing well.  Work is keeping me busy.

I guess that is all for now.  Stay safe!   Thank you for stopping by!

Deer and Bunny Birthday

I recently learned of Rachelle Anne Miller's amazing stamps on the Kit and Clowder Facebook group page.  On the group page, they were giving away a free Rachelle Anne Miller coloring page.   After downloading the freebie, I went immediately to her store and purchased a few digital stamps.    I thought this sweet image (Deer and Bunny) would be perfect for a birthday card.

Thank you for stopping by today!
