Easter Bunny

Hello!  I have a couple of Easter cards to share with you today.  They both used the same digital stamp and designs but different papers.

The sentiment was created in Word using a free font, printed on the vellum and heat embossed.   I also embossed polka dots on the vellum to give it a little something interesting.

I did not add too many embellishments as I wanted these to be easily mailed.

Thank you for stopping by!  Have a great day!

New Easter Chickie

Hello!  I have a couple of Easter cars to share today.   I can't believe Easter is right around the corner.  I'm not ready!  I still have to purchase goodies for the Easter baskets.

Below are the cards I made today to send to a couple of friends.  The coloring in the photos looks a little wonky but it looks better in real life.

Thank you for stopping by!

Drink Coffee!

Hello!  I'm popping in to share another card quick card for the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Hop.

This card went together really quick.  I have a little bin on my desk that I use to save all the die cuts and little bits that I cut but didn't use on a card.  For this card the only thing I cut was the pink coffee cut lid and the pink heart, the rest of the pieces were in my handy little bin.

I feel like I want to add something to the card, but I'm not sure what.  I tried various sequins, gem stones, buttons, etc. but nothing seemed right so I left it as it is.

Life Happens, Coffee Helps

Hello!  I have not had a lot of time to craft lately and when I do have time, I am sadly lacking in creativity.  When I saw the post for the Spring/Summer  Coffee Lovers Hop, it was just the kick to get me going.  Although we finally had some nice, spring weather here, I spent some time in my craft room making cards for the hop.

Although I have quite a few coffee themed digital stamps and stamps, I used the hop as an excuse to purchase this cute owl on a coffee cup from  AlexShopsArt on Etsy.  The Echo Park Coffee and Friends 6x6 paper pad made these cards together pretty easily.

I am working to make a number of cards to send to a senior community.  I sent a care package before Christmas and hope to another one ready to send soon.  (If you would like to send cards or notes, please click here for the details.)  I'm sure some of these cards will make their way into the care package.

Don't forget to link up your creation and hop along with the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Hop for lots of caffeinated inspiration.

Thank you for stopping by!

Easy Breezy Coneflowers

Spring is on the way.  I 've seen robins in the yard, red wing blackbirds at the feeders, and the sandhill cranes are back in the field next to our house.   At the back of our yard we have an area of wildflowers.  We planted milkweed seeds this fall and I hope some of the seeds grow into plants which will attract butterflies.  Even if the milkweed doesn't grow, we always have plenty of coneflowers to attract butterflies and bees.

When I saw this image from Power Poppy, I wanted to color it and think about the coming summer days.

Before I go I thought I would share a photo of my girls.  This was taken on the way home from the park after a long walk.  They are also happy that the weather is getting nicer so that we can take longer walks and enjoy the outdoors.
