We’re going MONOCHROME!

The new Sentimental Sundays challenge is MONOCHROME (with a sentiment)! This one was a bit of a challenge for me. I generally try to avoid monochrome projects because they intimidate me. But I gave this one a try and am pretty happy with the results.

I’m going to keep this post short since I am late getting it up. Drop by the Sentimental Sundays blog to see the other fabulous MONOCHROME (with a sentiment) creations from the rest of the DT and download your free sentiment set from Ann Vento of Raindrop Echo Designs. I can’t wait to see your MONOCHROME project.

Have a great day!

Supplies:

  • Stamps: Sympathy (digital sentiment) by Ann Vento of Raindrop Echo Designs

This is stunning Cheryl, the liquid pearls are the perfect finishing touch - I wish I could get them to look as good when I use them.

This is stunning Cheryl. Love the soft green tones. The pearls, vintage lace and seambinding all are perfect for this look. Love it!

Monochrome intimidates me too, but I think you've done a truly lovely job. Those shades of green are so pretty and the muted color of the lace is just the perfect little accent. :-)

So elegant! I love the soft color and the pearls, ribbon and lace are so feminine! Beautiful card :)

This is so pretty, and I had to look twice to see that you used LIQUID pearls as opposed to actual pearl bling. How do you get them rounded out? I always seem to end up with "peaks" on my liquid pearls.

Wow Cheryl, this is so gorgeous. I'm also intimidated by monochrome but you hit this one out of the park! Love the lace, pearls and wrinkly ribbon.
