For my Whimsy & Stars Studio DT post this week, I played around with the adorable Springtime Toadstool image again. I love this little chick. This time I added a little Fun Flock to make him fuzzy.
To create the clouds in the background, I tried something new. I used the cloud template created by Bev Rochester and this tutorial from Jan Hunnicutt. Check out the blogs of both of these talented ladies. I like the way these clouds look and it was much easier than some of the other techniques I have tried.

This sure does say spring time with that cute little chick and all those wonderful bright colors, just like a country kitchen with a pie in the oven. OK probably should have had breakfast before typing, but really love the card.

Hi Cheryl! What a great card, I needed to see something so happy and bright on what is an overcast day in my neck of the woods. This just screams happy to me, I love the vibrant colors, the image, and the way you set off the image with those pretty flowers!
