This weekend has been busy.  I worked out (on-line), cleaned the house, took the dogs for long walks, visited my dad, and had a social distanced coffee date with a girl friend.  Earlier during the week I saw the Coffee Lover's Summer Blog Hop and knew I had to find time to make a card to join in.

I paper pieced the cute coffee cut from Graciellie Design Coffee Lover's digital stamp set.

You Are My Sunshine

Hello!  The weather here in Wisconsin is pretty cold and dreary today so I thought it would be the perfect day to share a happy card.

I love sunflowers.  They always seem to make me smile.  When I saw the Summer Sunflowers digital stamp set at Graciellie Designs Shop, I had to buy it.  This is my first card using the set but I know I'll use it many more times.

For my card, I colored the sunflower with  Copic markers and fussy cut it out.  The sentiment also came from the digital stamp kit.  I found a clear plastic bracket when I was cleaning out my craft room a couple of weeks ago so I colored it with my Copics to coordinate with the designer paper I had picked out.  The card doesn't have has many layers as I usually use, but I like how it came out.

Christmas Teddy

Poppy Birthday

Hello!  I'm popping in to share the card I made for my sister in law's birthday.

I really enjoyed coloring this gorgeous poppy from the Beautiful Day digital bundle from Graciellie Design.  I didn't want to hide the flower with a bunch of patterned papers so I kept the design simple.  (CAS is so out of my comfort zone!)  I finished with a sentiment from Stampin' Up.  This stamp is from one of the very first stamp sets I ever bought.

What's the Buzz?

Hello!  I hope you are doing well.  I am getting a little stir crazy while staying "Safer at Home" but at least I have been able to spend time in my craft room.

When scrolling through my library of digital images, I saw this cute little bee from Wings & Willows and though he would be perfect for some cards for friends.

For the second card, I used a sentiment in my library created by Doodle Pantry.  

When I was adding links to my post I was sad to see that both of these shops have closed.

The robins are back in Wisconsin.  They are always a welcome sign that spring is on its way (even though it snowed last week).

When I saw this cute image of Teddy with Robin from  Lili of the Valley Digi Shop  I had to purchase it so that I could make some cards to send to friends that I am missing during self-isolation.

I created 2 different layouts using paper from My Mind's Eye Indie Chic Citron collection.
