I thought I would try to play along and made this card. I made it as a "hope you feel better soon" card for a friend who has an injury. It gave me a chance to use the Clear Dollar Stamps that I won about a month ago and I haven't had a chance to use yet. I made it one evening this week when I should have been in bed. I could not get paper or ribbon placed similar to the sketch in a way I liked so I finally ended up using faux stitching.
I had crocheted this flower a few months ago when the instructions where all the rage on Splitcoast and never used it. (Did you know I have a cross reference for Stampin' Up and Close To My Heart to Copic Markers, Prismacolor pencils and DMC floss in my side bar?)
This card also fits the ABC Challenge of use something new.
Well, speaking of past my bed time..... I am going to finish up this post and head to bed. This week just wore me out and I have a busy day tomorrow.
