Cute & Cuddly (Part 2)

Our Sentimental Sundays challenge this week is "Cute & Cuddly". I made 2 cards for the challenge this week. You saw the first one on Sunday and this is the 2nd one I made using up scraps and pieces on I had on my desk. ' ll

Using a pre-colored digi from Doodle Pantry made throwing this card together a snap. The best part is that I have another card for my OWH box. My box is almost full and will soon be mailed!

I also have some fun stuff coming up on my blog. On April 1st, there will be 2 blog hops. The first is to celebrate Meljen's Designs 1st birthday and the second is to show off the new digital releases at Whimsy Stamps. Make sure you stop to check out the hops. For my card, I wanted to play around with one of the Doodle Pantry images that I have. They are so cute but I never seem to have time to use them. So this week I printed one off, colored it up and used some gorgeous papers that were RAK'd to me by a blogging friend, Maria.

I needed a quick thank you card this week end. I had this image from Doodle Pantry already colored and used Jen del Muro's Sketch for You To Try. This is another attempt at a clean and simple card lay out. I like the bright colors but wish I embossed the kraft bg panel.

It's Summertime with Sentimental Sundays

It's summertime and the living is easy..... I love that song. It brings back some fond memories.



The challenge this week on the Sentimental Sundays blog is "Summertime". And to me, one of the hallmarks of summer is a pitcher of fresh squeezed lemonade.






I made this card both for the challenge and for a friend who is going through a bit of a rough patch. The pitcher is covered with a couple of coats of UTEE. The lemon is coated with just one coat in IRL looks a little dimply like a real lemon.
