Poppy Birthday

Hello!  I'm popping in to share the card I made for my sister in law's birthday.

I really enjoyed coloring this gorgeous poppy from the Beautiful Day digital bundle from Graciellie Design.  I didn't want to hide the flower with a bunch of patterned papers so I kept the design simple.  (CAS is so out of my comfort zone!)  I finished with a sentiment from Stampin' Up.  This stamp is from one of the very first stamp sets I ever bought.

What's the Buzz?

Hello!  I hope you are doing well.  I am getting a little stir crazy while staying "Safer at Home" but at least I have been able to spend time in my craft room.

When scrolling through my library of digital images, I saw this cute little bee from Wings & Willows and though he would be perfect for some cards for friends.

For the second card, I used a sentiment in my library created by Doodle Pantry.  

When I was adding links to my post I was sad to see that both of these shops have closed.

Hello Friend!

The robins are back in Wisconsin.  They are always a welcome sign that spring is on its way (even though it snowed last week).

When I saw this cute image of Teddy with Robin from  Lili of the Valley Digi Shop  I had to purchase it so that I could make some cards to send to friends that I am missing during self-isolation.

I created 2 different layouts using paper from My Mind's Eye Indie Chic Citron collection.

Under the Weather

How are you coping while in self-isolation?  I am lucky to be able to work from home but I still find I have time on my hands.  I have been using that time to try to get my crafting mojo back. 

I treated myself to a few new digital stamps from Lili of the Valley's digital stamp store on Etsy.  My card uses a sweet image called Under the Weather .  I used some paper out of my stash.  (My Mind's Eye Stella & Rose paper pad)

Coffee & Friends

This week I found a new (to me) digital stamp designer, Graciellie Designs.   I completely love her images.   Since she was having a sale, I splurged and purchased a few different sets so I could mix and match images and sentiments.

The first cards I made using her images use the cup from Cuddle in a Cup digital stamp set and I mixed in 2 different sentiments from Coffee Lovers digital stamp set.

I can't wait until I can meet my girl friends for a coffee date.

Can't Touch This!

Hello!  I wanted to take a moment to share some cards I made over the weekend.  I love these fun images from Pixel Paper Prints on Etsy.com.

First up is this adorable llama.  I really wanted to include a witty sentiment but couldn't come up with anything.

Ever since I printed up these cacti to color, MC Hammer's "Can't Touch This" has been running through my head.   Everybody sing it, "You can't touch this (oh-oh oh oh oh-oh-oh)".

And lastly for those who don't care for MC Hammer, a different sentiment.

Get Well Soon!

I thought it would be a good time to stock up on Get Well cards.

The first card uses a digital image called Poorly Pup from Di's Digital Stamps.  I couldn't find this image in her shop but she has lots of cute images. 

I also made 2 cards using Caught a Bug (freebie) from Digi Stamp Boutique.  I was sadden to see that this shop has closed since the last time I was actively crafting.

 Did you notice I spent some time trying learn my new photo editing software?  I think the images look much better than the last couple of posts.
