For A Special Dad

Whew! I got the Father's Day for my husband done in the nick of time.

I think I might have went a little nuts on the distressing but my husband always says he likes when I "rough up the edges so everything isn't all perfect." This card should be perfect for him.

I wanted to share one of my favorite pictures of my husband taken last year at our Halloween party / bonfire.

Thank you for looking!

Challenges for this card:

Supplies used for this card:

  • Images: Daddy's Heartbeat Sentiments digital stamp set by Raindrop Echo Designs on Whimsy Stamps
  • Papers & CS: All papers except card base are from my scrap bin. I think the striped paper is from My Mind's Eye
  • Ink: Stampin' Up Basic Black
  • Tools: CTMH edge distressing tool & sanding block, paper piercer
  • Embellishments: DMC floss, misc. brads

Cheryl this is awesome! I love distressed edges, and it works just perfectly with your DP and wonderful sentiment as a focal point. Love that saying as I know men who took the spot of a father that was vacant. ;) Great job, thank you so much for joining us in our Guys challenge at ACLP!
