True Beauty…

Hello and Happy Thursday!

Today I have a card made with Rosie from Whimsy & Stars Studio.    Did you get her when she was a available for download on Facebook?  If not, you might want to join the Whimsy & Stars Studio group on Facebook.  You can join here so you don’t miss out on any future freebies.      If you missed her, she is now available for purchase in the shop.

2012-05-17 WSS Rosie WM

Rosie is so pretty!  I had to use the sentiment that came in the paper pad I used.   It says “True beauty lies within.  I know that yours will shine so brilliant it will be blinding.”    I just love it!

2012-05-17 WSS Rosie close WM

Here is a look at Rosie before I started coloring and paper piecing.

Thank you to every one that sent well wishes to my dog, Summer.   She is still having issues with her balance but she seems in good spirits.  She still wants to go off to exploring scents in the yard and be the center of attention even though she is dizzy, nauseous, looses her balance easily and falls down a lot.    We have our fingers that this all passes soon and she will be back to her usual self.

Have a great day!  Thank you for stopping by!

  • Stamps:  Rosie (digital stamp) by Whimsy & Stars Studio
  • Inks:  none
  • Papers:  Neenah Crest solar white CS, Papertrey kraft & dark chocolate CS,  Prima Madeline collection DP pad
  • Tools:  Sewing machine, Big Shot, Papertrey Edgers collection die, Stampin’ Up edge punch, Martha Stewart butterfly punch, Bow Easy, Copic markers
  • Embellishments:  Paperstudio pearls, Colonial Brown Hug Snug seam binding,  Prima sculpture flower

You've created the cutest design on this card to show Miss Rosie off. :-) I love the resin flower embellie.
So sorry to hear your pups still struggling. They did check her for ticks didn't they? Those nasty things can cause the symptoms you doggie has. Hugs!

Berry the Snowman

Okay, Berry the Snowman doesn’t have the same ring as Frosty, but I think his cuteness totally makes up for it.  This is another one of the images that I colored during my crafting day with a friend before Thanksgiving.  I’m happy I had the chance to get him on a card.    Have a great week!  Thank you for stopping by!Supplies:Stamps:  Berry from Stacy Yacula Studio at Purple Onion DesignsInks:  Memento Tuxedo Black Papers:  Neenah Classic Craft Solar White CS, Papertrey kraft CS, Carta Bella Winter Fun paper pad 6x6 Tools:  Sewing machine, Big Shot, Papertrey Doily details die, Stampin’ Up corner punch, Copic markers Embellishments:  May Arts Burlap twine, Tattered Angels glimmer mist, button Challenges:Clear It Out 2W, 3E, Must use stash item - Challenge: Anything Goes Stash Item:Anything Goes (Twine, button, die cut – had it cut and sitting in a bin since last Xmas)Loves Rubber Stamps W - #82 Anything Goes ChristmasOldie But A Goodie Challenge 2W, must use something at least 6mts ol…
It has been a really long time since I have been able to spend time in my craft room.  One of my New Years resolutions was to get back into my craft room on a regular basis.  Well, it is now October and I am finally here.  I'm hoping to be back more often.

I made this card to send to a family member that has been in my thoughts a lot lately.

I hope to have more to share soon.

Sweet 16!

Hello!  I managed to sneak into my craft room for a bit today.  My daughter is turning 16 next week. (Where does the time go?)

Since the demise of Picasa, I have not found a new program to edit my photos.  I know there are several available but I have not had time to learn a new program.  I apologize that my photos are less than optimal at the moment.

Have a great day!  Thank you for stopping by.
