Beautiful Birthday Lady Bug Card / Mygrafico Customer Blog Hop

** Updated: This card was a top 3 pick in Kaboodle Doodle's Challenge #26 - Happy Birthday.

Whew.... this card is done. Maybe... I don't know why but it was a real struggle for me. This is the 3rd version of the same card (seriously). I was going to go for a fourth time but got a grip on myself.

I paper pieced the lady bug from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff Doodle Flowers digital stamp set. If you would like to see a tutorial on how to paper piece with a digital image, please check out my tutorial HERE. (One lucky commenter on my tutorial will win this set for their own.) Here is a look at the entire set.

Speaking of Lindsay' Stamp Stuff (do you like that smooth segue?), she is having a sale in her store on mygrafico. Click the button below to go to Lindsay's store. While you are there, be sure to check out the Leaping Leprechaun free digi.

For a complete list of participants in the mygrafico customer blog hop, click HERE.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!

Berry the Snowman

Okay, Berry the Snowman doesn’t have the same ring as Frosty, but I think his cuteness totally makes up for it.  This is another one of the images that I colored during my crafting day with a friend before Thanksgiving.  I’m happy I had the chance to get him on a card.    Have a great week!  Thank you for stopping by!Supplies:Stamps:  Berry from Stacy Yacula Studio at Purple Onion DesignsInks:  Memento Tuxedo Black Papers:  Neenah Classic Craft Solar White CS, Papertrey kraft CS, Carta Bella Winter Fun paper pad 6x6 Tools:  Sewing machine, Big Shot, Papertrey Doily details die, Stampin’ Up corner punch, Copic markers Embellishments:  May Arts Burlap twine, Tattered Angels glimmer mist, button Challenges:Clear It Out 2W, 3E, Must use stash item - Challenge: Anything Goes Stash Item:Anything Goes (Twine, button, die cut – had it cut and sitting in a bin since last Xmas)Loves Rubber Stamps W - #82 Anything Goes ChristmasOldie But A Goodie Challenge 2W, must use something at least 6mts ol…
It has been a really long time since I have been able to spend time in my craft room.  One of my New Years resolutions was to get back into my craft room on a regular basis.  Well, it is now October and I am finally here.  I'm hoping to be back more often.

I made this card to send to a family member that has been in my thoughts a lot lately.

I hope to have more to share soon.

Sweet 16!

Hello!  I managed to sneak into my craft room for a bit today.  My daughter is turning 16 next week. (Where does the time go?)

Since the demise of Picasa, I have not found a new program to edit my photos.  I know there are several available but I have not had time to learn a new program.  I apologize that my photos are less than optimal at the moment.

Have a great day!  Thank you for stopping by.
