Catered Crop–The Call It Mellow Yellow

For the current challenge at the Catered Crop, we are just mad about yellow!  That’s the current challenge, use the color yellow somewhere on your paper craft project.

For my project, I mixed yellow with blue and kraft to make a sunshiny card for a friend.

I wasn’t feeling really well this weekend when I had a bit of crafty time so I took a look at Pinterest for some inspiration.   I was inspired by this card by Jen.

As always, Linda has curated a fabulous inspiration board for our challenge.  You can see her Mellow Yellow board on Pinterest by clicking on the photo below

I hope you will come join us for our Mellow Yellow challenge.  Stop by the Catered Crop to link up your paper crafting project and see the recipe rules.

Thank you for stopping by!

The Wings of the Butterfly

Hurray! It's Sunday and that means the new challenge is up on the Sentimental Sundays blog. The challenge this week is "Encouragement & Support".

I wanted to use something a little different than "Hang in there" or "Thinking of You" so I decided to use this sentiment from Tlc Creations. It says "May the wings of the butterfly kiss the sun and find your shoulder to light on." For some reason, it just strikes a chord inside me and I love it.

I hope you will join us this week and share your cards of support and encourgement on the Sentimental Sundays blog. A random entrant will win 4 digital stamp sentiments of their choosing or a sentiment set from Raindrop Echo Designs Whismy Stamp digital collection. The only rule is that you follow the theme and you must have a sentiment somewhere on your card.

Thank you for looking!
