I love sunflowers. They always seem to make me smile. When I saw the Summer Sunflowers digital stamp set at Graciellie Designs Shop, I had to buy it. This is my first card using the set but I know I'll use it many more times.
For my card, I colored the sunflower with Copic markers and fussy cut it out. The sentiment also came from the digital stamp kit. I found a clear plastic bracket when I was cleaning out my craft room a couple of weeks ago so I colored it with my Copics to coordinate with the designer paper I had picked out. The card doesn't have has many layers as I usually use, but I like how it came out.

Last night I watched a segment on our local news channel about a farmer who harvested hundreds of sunflowers from his fields and went into the local town to give them away for free, to passersby, just to bring a smile to the faces in his community. Your card is a beautiful gift, just as his sunflowers were! Absolutely beautiful! Gorgeous image and wonderful colour choices. I love the bracket! Like your coloring & fussy cutting of sunflower. Couple yrs ago I worked for a plant nursery and I rescued & planted several sunflowers that they allowed the employees to have. Liked how they looked tall in full bloom.
