Happy Tuesday! I had the day off of work on Monday for President’s Day. It was wonderful, especially since my hubby and daughter still had work and school. It was so great having a day to myself. I have to admit I did spend a bit of time in my craft room working on DT projects.

My card today is a birthday card for a friend using one of the new digital images from the Whimsy and Stars Studio. I love this kitty and can see myself using her again and again.

The rose on the top of the cupcake is layered. I had the card all finished and then thought I would use my clear glitter pen to add a touch of sparkle. I accidently grabbed my silver pen instead of the clear and it look terrible! I quickly printed out another image, colored and cut out the image to hide my boo-boo. (Tip: When working with digis, after I print them I always jot the size either on the back of the image or in the margins so if I have to reprint the image I know exactly what size I used.)
