Pumpkin Kitty

A couple of weeks ago when I was running errands and picking up things my daughter needed for school, I stopped in the Yankee Candle store. Since they were having a fabulous sale on their candles, I picked up a few to alter and donate to my daughter’s school for their fall auction and fundraiser.

This is the first candle I have completed. It is a yummy smelling Frosted Pumpkin one. I added some ribbon to the top of the candle and added a tag using the new Pumpkin Kitty image from Whimsy and Stars Studios.

The new Fall Digis, including Pumpkin Kitty, are arriving in the Whimsy and Stars Studio store today! You can also see the projects created by the DT using the new images on the Whimsy and Stars Studio blog.

Thank you for stopping by!

Supplies:

  • Stamps: Pumpkin Kitty (digital image) from Whimsy Stars & Stamps, All Year Cheer from Stampin’ Up
  • Inks: Memento tuxedo black
  • Papers: Papertrey kraft CS, Echo Park Apothecary Emporium paper pad
  • Tools: Cricut, Tags, Bags, & Boxes cartridge, Copic markers, Stampin’ Up edge punch
  • Embellishments: Annabelle Stamps Metallic Black Currant 3mm sprinkles, the Twinery bakers twine, misc. ribbon , button, gemstones

Berry the Snowman

Okay, Berry the Snowman doesn’t have the same ring as Frosty, but I think his cuteness totally makes up for it.  This is another one of the images that I colored during my crafting day with a friend before Thanksgiving.  I’m happy I had the chance to get him on a card.    Have a great week!  Thank you for stopping by!Supplies:Stamps:  Berry from Stacy Yacula Studio at Purple Onion DesignsInks:  Memento Tuxedo Black Papers:  Neenah Classic Craft Solar White CS, Papertrey kraft CS, Carta Bella Winter Fun paper pad 6x6 Tools:  Sewing machine, Big Shot, Papertrey Doily details die, Stampin’ Up corner punch, Copic markers Embellishments:  May Arts Burlap twine, Tattered Angels glimmer mist, button Challenges:Clear It Out 2W, 3E, Must use stash item - Challenge: Anything Goes Stash Item:Anything Goes (Twine, button, die cut – had it cut and sitting in a bin since last Xmas)Loves Rubber Stamps W - #82 Anything Goes ChristmasOldie But A Goodie Challenge 2W, must use something at least 6mts ol…
It has been a really long time since I have been able to spend time in my craft room.  One of my New Years resolutions was to get back into my craft room on a regular basis.  Well, it is now October and I am finally here.  I'm hoping to be back more often.

I made this card to send to a family member that has been in my thoughts a lot lately.

I hope to have more to share soon.

Sweet 16!

Hello!  I managed to sneak into my craft room for a bit today.  My daughter is turning 16 next week. (Where does the time go?)

Since the demise of Picasa, I have not found a new program to edit my photos.  I know there are several available but I have not had time to learn a new program.  I apologize that my photos are less than optimal at the moment.

Have a great day!  Thank you for stopping by.
