Stamping Fundraiser

Kim Sherrod is hosting a fundraiser to help out a friend of hers. Below I have copied the wording directly from her blog explaining the fundraiser.

This is a fundraiser to help my friend out at this time to help her with expenses so she can see her son. He has a heart problem and it's costly for the trip and it's financially difficult for her to travel. Help us to make it possible for her to spend some time with him. She doesn't think he's going to make it and anything will help to ease her burden during this difficult time.

We are so grateful to Ann V. of Raindrop Echo Designs for designing these beautiful stamps to help us with our fundraiser. We are offering these stamps in both digi and clear stamps. We will send you the digi stamps within 24 hours.

The clear stamps are a pre-order item. We have to meet a minimum in order to place the clear stamp order. The minimum is very minimal. The clear stamps are a wonderful quality and we've worked with the stamp manufacturer before.

Your file will come in jpeg and png files.

Today Whimsy Stamps is releasing its first issue of the Whimsy Stamps Inspirations Magazine! It's packed with amazing samples from the design team and customers as well as three different tutorials that you can follow along with step-by-step. We are excited to bring you samples that have never been seen before and we hope that they will inspire you to create using your favorite Whimsy products! Whimsy Stamps Digi DT Call

Whimsy Stamps is also holding a Design Team call from now until May 15th. We are looking for some talented crafters to join our Digital Stamp DT and help us showcase our growing digital stamp collections.

Each Digi Team Designer is asked to...
* share one project per week on his/her blog (applicants must have a blog),
* participate in our monthly releases and blog hop,
* become a member of our Yahoo group,
* share your artwork on our Facebook Fan page, Whimsy Blog, and any other online community you belong to,
* promote Whimsy Stamps by using our images, mentioning Whimsy news and promotions, and linking to our shop.

In exchange for DT work and helping to promote our products...
* members will have access to our digital stamps for use in weekly DT projects,
* members will receive a DT discount of 20% off, on all Whimsy shop purchases, while a member of our team,
* personal bio and photo will be placed on our blog.

Help for Japan Blog Hop info

The illustrators of Whimsy Stamps have come together to draw a special set of digi images for the purpose of raising money for the relief effort in Japan. All proceeds from the sale of these images will be donated to that cause. Kenny K, Raindrop Echo Designs, Meljen's Designs, and Crissy Armstrong all contributed art work.

For the whole month of April, you can purchase the images as a set or individually (your choice) by visiting this page on the Whimsy store site. Please consider helping this special cause by purchasing one or all of the digital images we are offering.

The hop starts today on Crissy's blog and runs from now through Sunday, April 10, at noon. There will be several opportunities to win blog candy! Four random commenters will get a chance to receive one of the three individual images or Ann's sentiment set. So be sure to leave comments all along the way for your chance at a free digi! Pink Cat Studio is looking for a guest designer

Pink Cat Studios is having a contest to find 2 Guest Designers for their March Release! They want to see our favorite PCS creation. My favorite favorite PCS creation is a Christmas card I made this past year.

I have a couple of other PCS creations I would like to share too.

I love this card even though my sewing is a bit wonky. It was the first time I tried to use my new sewing machine. I still love Rex and Bronty. They are the cutest dinosaurs ev-ah!

My third most favorite PCS card is this one. Lily reminds me so much of my daughter that I can't help but love her.
