Baddddd Blogger!

Sorry I’ve been such a bad blogger the last few weeks.   My job and family have been keeping me busy and I didn’t get the chance to spend any time at all in my craft room last week.   Not only have I not been able to craft, I really haven’t had time to visit all my blogging friends.   I’m hoping things get back to normal crazy (instead of crazy crazy) soon and I will get back on track.

I was able to get one thing accomplished so far this weekend.   My daughter loves to collect the smooshed pennies that you can get at all the tourist spots.  Know what I mean?  I really don’t know what else to call them.     Anyhow, since we are were out an about earlier today, I stopped at a craft store and bought some chain, jump rings and fasteners to make her a bracelet with all her pennies.   I swear this is only about half of what she has but she said she couldn’t remember where she put the rest of them.    Oh well, when they show up, we will just add them on.

I used my Cropadile to create the holes in the coins.

Well, I going to dash off to my craft room and start working on some cards.  I hope to have some things to share with you later this week.

Thank you for stopping by!  Have a great weekend!

Great idea to use them. I glue magnets on the back and use them as a fridge magnet.

Cheryl this is such a great idea! Now she can actually do something with them instead of stashing them away!

Awesome!

Hahaaaa Cheryl - we are 2 peas in a pod, I tell ya! Firstly, I have pretty much sworn off stamping AND blogging for the summer. Like you, work & family have filled my days & there is just no time. I haven't even really visited my blogging friends. BUT -- when I saw this post pop up on my reader I HAD to comment -- because we JUST discovered these smooshed pennies! I'm sure they've been around but we first noticed when we were at Miller Park a couple of months ago. Then at Discovery World. So we too, have started a collection & I'm the worst as far as HAVING to have them. Yes, I happily pay 51 cents for the machine to squish my penny :) I have boys though, so no bracelets here -- I'll have to come up with some other ingenious way to use them!

I tell you what...that cropodile is an amazing tool isn't it? Love this bracelet. So fun and so much better than keeping them in a drawer somewhere. Adorable!

Very cute- what a great use for those pennies! I often find them laying around the house- my boys lose interest in them once they get home from vacation- I'll have to try this!
