This week my best friend had a birthday and not any ol' card would do. We have been friends since we were 6 years old and have been through a lot together. We have both experienced the loss of a parent, the ups and downs of school, dating, jobs, relationships, gotten married, and had children. Even when busy schedules prevent us from seeing each other very often, when we get together it seems like it was only yesterday when we last talked because we understand each other so well. So this is the card I made. In case you can't read it in the pic, it says "Side by side or far apart, true friends live with in our hearts." Okay, so it is a little, over the top, sweet, but I still like it and it is all too true.Check out that picture taken in my new light box. My husband made me a light box last week end and I love it.
