Great Impressions Stamps - Spring Watering Can

Hello!  Happy Monday!  Today is my day to post on the Great Impressions Stamps blog.

I am still hoping and waiting for the early spring that the groundhog predicted.  To help dispel the winter blues, I decided to make a spring-y card this week.   I pulled out this sweet image, Watering Can (E670), and pair it up with some pretty, spring papers.

2013-03-04 GI Watering Can WM

I once again die cut a Starbucks coffee sleeve to add some texture to my project.  I love using these in my crafting and, I hate to admit it, often times have a cup sitting on my desk and ready to use.

Don’t forget to stop back to tomorrow when we kick off the Great Impressions Stamps Spring Bunny Hop.  Hop along with us to see some gorgeous eye candy and your chance to win prizes!

Thank you for stopping by!  Have a great week!

Hi, Cheryl! Thanks for entering another fabulous project in our challenge! You can definitely feel Spring when you look at this!

I have a stash of corrugated cardboard behind the door in my studio. I haven't been to Starbuck's since I retired. But I have found the FedEx and USPS Boxes are about the same weight.

LOL I just read your post on the GI blog...I laughed when I read about the coffee sleeve. I don't drink coffee, but my darling husband does and he gets the sleeves just for me (he doesn't use them!), so I can use them in my crafting! We could all use a little more kraft, right? This is a gorgeous card!

Catered Crop–Seeing Red

Hello!  I’m back. I’m sorry I have been gone so long.  Things have been so hectic that I haven’t had the chance to spend time in my craft room for months.  I was able to sneak away to my craft room for a while this weekend and hope to make it a regular event.I decided to use the Catered Crop’s Seeing Red recipe swap and take the opportunity to cook up some note cards to give to my mother in-law.  Although I only had time to make 4 cards, it was great to spend time in my craft room again. As always, Linda cooked up a fabulous Pinterest board to help get our creative mojo flowing.   Click on the photo below to go to her Seeing Red inspiration board.Don’t forget to link up your Seeing Red creations at the Catered Crop.Thank you for stopping by!Supplies:Stamps:  Fancy Flourishes & Little Labels from Papertrey Ink Inks:  Close To My Heart Hollyhock & Papertrey Ink Kraft inks Papers:  Papertrey white CS, My Mind’s Eye Miss Caroline Dolled Up 6x6 paper pad, misc. scrap red CS, Starbuc…
