Lindsay's Stamp Stuff - Love Notes

Valentine's Day is coming! I was "feeling the love" this weekend and created my first Valentines card of the year.

Although it is not a typical Valentines card, I really love the way it turned out. The sentiment was computer generated using the Veteran Typewritter font (a freebie). I like creating my own sentiments because you can type in any sentiment you want.

Stop by to visit the rest of the DT's blog. I know they have some wonderful projects for you to look at. Lindsay will have her weekly freebie on her blog.

Awesome card and great to give to a guy (ie not a lot of pink and flowers ;) ) Love this idea!
I think it is the perfect Valentine's Day card, love the typewriter and the sentiment you added just fits. The paper and lace is a lovely touch.
I like how you kept the layout simple so you could add the lace and ribbon and twine and heart and button and not have any of it be overwhelming. A really charming Vday card.
do you know i took my 1st typing test on a typewriter just like this? at 62 wpm too! i was the star pupil - go figure. i STILL love typing which is probably why i'm on the computer all day long - lol.

anyway.... super cool card.

hugs :)

I was still using a typewriter like this in the late 70's when I left school. Hope that doesn't make me VINTAGE!
Fabulous card.

Cheryl, I like cards when they aren't as typical as they should be ie Valentine's red/roses. I think that image is perfect. Thankfully I didn't have to type on one of these - think I'll stick to my computer keyboard!!! Thank you for taking part in the Aud Sentiments Challenge this fortnight and I wish you the best of luck in the draw. Best wishes, Kym (Aud Sentiments Design Team Member) xxx

Okay, Berry the Snowman doesn’t have the same ring as Frosty, but I think his cuteness totally makes up for it.  This is another one of the images that I colored during my crafting day with a friend before Thanksgiving.  I’m happy I had the chance to get him on a card.    Have a great week!  Thank you for stopping by!Supplies:Stamps:  Berry from Stacy Yacula Studio at Purple Onion DesignsInks:  Memento Tuxedo Black Papers:  Neenah Classic Craft Solar White CS, Papertrey kraft CS, Carta Bella Winter Fun paper pad 6x6 Tools:  Sewing machine, Big Shot, Papertrey Doily details die, Stampin’ Up corner punch, Copic markers Embellishments:  May Arts Burlap twine, Tattered Angels glimmer mist, button Challenges:Clear It Out 2W, 3E, Must use stash item - Challenge: Anything Goes Stash Item:Anything Goes (Twine, button, die cut – had it cut and sitting in a bin since last Xmas)Loves Rubber Stamps W - #82 Anything Goes ChristmasOldie But A Goodie Challenge 2W, must use something at least 6mts ol…
It has been a really long time since I have been able to spend time in my craft room.  One of my New Years resolutions was to get back into my craft room on a regular basis.  Well, it is now October and I am finally here.  I'm hoping to be back more often.

I made this card to send to a family member that has been in my thoughts a lot lately.

I hope to have more to share soon.

Sweet 16!

Hello!  I managed to sneak into my craft room for a bit today.  My daughter is turning 16 next week. (Where does the time go?)

Since the demise of Picasa, I have not found a new program to edit my photos.  I know there are several available but I have not had time to learn a new program.  I apologize that my photos are less than optimal at the moment.

Have a great day!  Thank you for stopping by.
