Sentimental Sundays #17 - Clean and Simple

The challenge on the Sentimental Sundays blog this week is Clean & Simple. If you follow my blog, you probably know that CAS cards are something I struggle with.

I used an older sketch from Clean & Simple (sketch FTL104) to help get me started. Although I am rather pleased with the way it turned out, I still have a hard time leaving it be. I wanted to add more layers, stitching, or just something!

Please stop by Sentimental Sundays to see the rest of the beautiful work from the DT and pick up the free sentiments from Ann Vento of Raindrop Echo Designs. I hope you will join our CAS challenge this week. Ann tries to keep it easy and fun. You can use any stamps, rub ons, papers, etc from your stash. You only need to incorporate the weekly theme and use a sentiment. Easy peasy.

Thank you for stopping by!

Catered Crop–Seeing Red

Hello!  I’m back. I’m sorry I have been gone so long.  Things have been so hectic that I haven’t had the chance to spend time in my craft room for months.  I was able to sneak away to my craft room for a while this weekend and hope to make it a regular event.I decided to use the Catered Crop’s Seeing Red recipe swap and take the opportunity to cook up some note cards to give to my mother in-law.  Although I only had time to make 4 cards, it was great to spend time in my craft room again. As always, Linda cooked up a fabulous Pinterest board to help get our creative mojo flowing.   Click on the photo below to go to her Seeing Red inspiration board.Don’t forget to link up your Seeing Red creations at the Catered Crop.Thank you for stopping by!Supplies:Stamps:  Fancy Flourishes & Little Labels from Papertrey Ink Inks:  Close To My Heart Hollyhock & Papertrey Ink Kraft inks Papers:  Papertrey white CS, My Mind’s Eye Miss Caroline Dolled Up 6x6 paper pad, misc. scrap red CS, Starbuc…
