Paulette's Day Off Blog Hop

Paulette of Create with TLC recently turned the big 600! No, not her age, but the number of followers on her blog. Candy, who manages the Tlc Creations group on CDAC for Paulette, thought it was time she had a day off. Candy and a few followers are taking over Paulette's blog today and organizing a blog hop so Paulette could have some time away. Being as sweet as she is, Paulette didn't want to leave us (or you) empty handed and gave us 7 digis to give away while she is at play.

I am the first stop on the blog hop. Please visit the balance of the ladies to collect your free digis and then stop by Paulette's blog to leave your well wishes.

Here is the list of stops on the blog hop:

Cheryl (you are here)
Jennifer
Jeri
Marlene
Patricia
Candy
Patti

And then stop by Paulette's blog.

I received this fabulous sentiment from Paulette for today's blog hop. You should be able to right click and save to your computer. If you have any problems, please leave me a comment with your email address and I will email it to you. Unfortunately, I needed another sympathy card this week and I thought that this sentiment would be perfect. I didn't make the card too frilly because I am sending to a male coworker.

Before you hop on over to Jennifer's blog to see the eye candy she created for you and collect your next digi, I wanted to give Paulette a big THANK YOU for her generosity. Thank you to you too for stopping by my blog and hopping along with us.

Challenges:

Supplies

  • Stamps: Those Who Bloom by Tlc Creations
  • Inks: CTMH Twilight, Outdoor Denim, & Honey
  • Papers & CS: CTMH Grace paper pack, PTI Vintage Cream, SU Chocolate Chip
  • Tools: Fiskars edge punch, Big Shot, Spellbinders Nestabilities
  • Embellishments: CTMH Filigree Charms/brad, Studio 18 Rhinestones, misc. brown ribbon

I thought maybe it was because I had too much open on my computer, but I still have not been able to download the freebie word images after closing the multiple windows. Could you please email me the download or whatever has to be done? My email is: puttchen10@yahoo.com. Thanks so much!

Pumpkin Spice - Birthday Wishes

While scrolling through the Pumpkin Spice shop, I noticed the great prices on the Christmas/Winter themed paper pads.    The fun colors and patterns on so many of the pages could be used for just about anything.   So I pulled out the “12 Days of Christmas” paper pad from My Mind’s Eye and set to work trying to make some cards.Since I never have enough birthday cards on hand, I thought that was what I would try first.  I started by punching out butterflies from several of the many patterns in the pad.    From there, I moved them around my card until I had an arrangement that I liked, added some stitching and stickers, and, “Ta Da!”, a birthday card! Since I also need a congratulations card for a friend , I thought I would see what I could make with the same paper pad.   I really love how this card turned out.(In real life, the glitter on the “U” is more similar to the aqua color in the paper.)So what do you think?   You can make some fabulous, non-holiday cards using holiday themed pap…

Catered Crop–Seeing Red

Hello!  I’m back. I’m sorry I have been gone so long.  Things have been so hectic that I haven’t had the chance to spend time in my craft room for months.  I was able to sneak away to my craft room for a while this weekend and hope to make it a regular event.I decided to use the Catered Crop’s Seeing Red recipe swap and take the opportunity to cook up some note cards to give to my mother in-law.  Although I only had time to make 4 cards, it was great to spend time in my craft room again. As always, Linda cooked up a fabulous Pinterest board to help get our creative mojo flowing.   Click on the photo below to go to her Seeing Red inspiration board.Don’t forget to link up your Seeing Red creations at the Catered Crop.Thank you for stopping by!Supplies:Stamps:  Fancy Flourishes & Little Labels from Papertrey Ink Inks:  Close To My Heart Hollyhock & Papertrey Ink Kraft inks Papers:  Papertrey white CS, My Mind’s Eye Miss Caroline Dolled Up 6x6 paper pad, misc. scrap red CS, Starbuc…
