You Give My Heart Wings!

** Updated - This card made the Pink Elephant top 15.

Happy Wednesday! I had this new image from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff new Love Grows Here digital stamp set printed and sitting on my desk. I thought I would try shading (as much as you can do with Stampin' Up markers). While I was at it I thought I would try putting together some colors that I don't usually use or at least don't normally use together. This is what I came up with. My DD thinks that there should be more glitter and bling. What do you think?

My card also fits the following challenges:
Practical Scrappers - Embossing
Creative Inspirations Challenge - #43 New Year, New Products
A Spoon Full of Sugar - Challenge 87-Lots of Layering
Crafy Creations - Challenge #51 Valentines or Love
The Pink Elephant - Challenge #50
Charisma Cardz Challenge - #2 Anything New
The Craft Garden - New
Papertake Weekly Challenge - Pretty Pink
Paper Maniac Inspiration - Texture, Faux Stitching, and buttons
Creative Belli Challenge - Hearts CBC83
I Love Digi Challenge - Use a digi
Cooking It up with Katie - Challenge #9
Corrosive Challenge - #47 Let's Go Digi (CCBJ#47)

Did you hear about the new challenge blog? It combines two things I love - digi's and challenges! If you love digital stamps or paper, please check them out.

First of all I think the card is amazing. However, how good would it be for your daughter's self esteem to let her see that she has good ideas, and what would a little bling hurt?

Berry the Snowman

Okay, Berry the Snowman doesn’t have the same ring as Frosty, but I think his cuteness totally makes up for it.  This is another one of the images that I colored during my crafting day with a friend before Thanksgiving.  I’m happy I had the chance to get him on a card.    Have a great week!  Thank you for stopping by!Supplies:Stamps:  Berry from Stacy Yacula Studio at Purple Onion DesignsInks:  Memento Tuxedo Black Papers:  Neenah Classic Craft Solar White CS, Papertrey kraft CS, Carta Bella Winter Fun paper pad 6x6 Tools:  Sewing machine, Big Shot, Papertrey Doily details die, Stampin’ Up corner punch, Copic markers Embellishments:  May Arts Burlap twine, Tattered Angels glimmer mist, button Challenges:Clear It Out 2W, 3E, Must use stash item - Challenge: Anything Goes Stash Item:Anything Goes (Twine, button, die cut – had it cut and sitting in a bin since last Xmas)Loves Rubber Stamps W - #82 Anything Goes ChristmasOldie But A Goodie Challenge 2W, must use something at least 6mts ol…
It has been a really long time since I have been able to spend time in my craft room.  One of my New Years resolutions was to get back into my craft room on a regular basis.  Well, it is now October and I am finally here.  I'm hoping to be back more often.

I made this card to send to a family member that has been in my thoughts a lot lately.

I hope to have more to share soon.

Sweet 16!

Hello!  I managed to sneak into my craft room for a bit today.  My daughter is turning 16 next week. (Where does the time go?)

Since the demise of Picasa, I have not found a new program to edit my photos.  I know there are several available but I have not had time to learn a new program.  I apologize that my photos are less than optimal at the moment.

Have a great day!  Thank you for stopping by.
