Lately life has been too busy.  So busy that I haven’t been a good blogger.  So busy that I really haven’t been good and returning comments of my blogging friends and followers.      To try to make up just a little bit, I am going to offer some blog candy.

Curlz

This candy is one, brand new, Just Rite Curlz Monogram stamp set.     (Includes a round stamping block)   The drawing will be on August 3, 2012 using Random.org.  I will post on my blog sometime shortly there after.

I know where you're coming from Cheryl. I have created only one new card in the past 2 months! After my holidays I had to readjust to the heat and a new batch of jobs and then I had to take over lots of household chores my husband usually takes care of (I know, I'm very lucky with a hubby like that LOL) because he needed a lot of bed rest due to a slipped disk. He went back to work today (part time) after three weeks of rest, so hopefully things will go back to normal shortly. Take care!

Pumpkin Spice - Birthday Wishes

While scrolling through the Pumpkin Spice shop, I noticed the great prices on the Christmas/Winter themed paper pads.    The fun colors and patterns on so many of the pages could be used for just about anything.   So I pulled out the “12 Days of Christmas” paper pad from My Mind’s Eye and set to work trying to make some cards.Since I never have enough birthday cards on hand, I thought that was what I would try first.  I started by punching out butterflies from several of the many patterns in the pad.    From there, I moved them around my card until I had an arrangement that I liked, added some stitching and stickers, and, “Ta Da!”, a birthday card! Since I also need a congratulations card for a friend , I thought I would see what I could make with the same paper pad.   I really love how this card turned out.(In real life, the glitter on the “U” is more similar to the aqua color in the paper.)So what do you think?   You can make some fabulous, non-holiday cards using holiday themed pap…

Catered Crop–Seeing Red

Hello!  I’m back. I’m sorry I have been gone so long.  Things have been so hectic that I haven’t had the chance to spend time in my craft room for months.  I was able to sneak away to my craft room for a while this weekend and hope to make it a regular event.I decided to use the Catered Crop’s Seeing Red recipe swap and take the opportunity to cook up some note cards to give to my mother in-law.  Although I only had time to make 4 cards, it was great to spend time in my craft room again. As always, Linda cooked up a fabulous Pinterest board to help get our creative mojo flowing.   Click on the photo below to go to her Seeing Red inspiration board.Don’t forget to link up your Seeing Red creations at the Catered Crop.Thank you for stopping by!Supplies:Stamps:  Fancy Flourishes & Little Labels from Papertrey Ink Inks:  Close To My Heart Hollyhock & Papertrey Ink Kraft inks Papers:  Papertrey white CS, My Mind’s Eye Miss Caroline Dolled Up 6x6 paper pad, misc. scrap red CS, Starbuc…
