She Stamps!

I was looking through some pictures last night and realized that I never shared this.

I received this from my good blogging friend, Maria, of Crafty Cre8tions.   I was so excited when I opened the mail and saw the beautiful canvas she made for me.   I have it on a shelf right above my crafting desk and I love looking up and seeing it.

Thank you again Maria!  I love it!

Pumpkin Spice - Lucky

Hello!  Today its my turn to post on the Pumpkin Spice blog

Although my crafty mojo has been on a bit of a hiatus lately (I think it is off looking for spring), I couldn’t help but be inspired by the beautiful, warm colors from Echo Park’s For the Record 2 collection.

2013-03-27 PSS Good Luck WM

In my original idea for this card, I was planning on having more of these beautiful floral papers showing.  I love the pink and orange together.  But, the doily on my desk some how made it’s way on my card.   Once again, I used some coordinating chipboard.   I jazzed it up a bit using some liquid pearls on the flower centers.

Don’t forget you still have time to join challenge #12 – Lucky (your interpretation).     To link up your “lucky” project or to see the challenge details, stop by the Pumpkin Spice blog

Catered Crop Flower Power Recipe Swap

I have been a long time fan of Linda McClain and the Catered Crop.  I love the beautiful inspiration boards she puts together to get our creativity jumping.  I am so thrilled to be able to regularly participate now as a designer!

For my Flower Power card for this week’s recipe swap, I decided to use some beautiful Echo Park chipboard and papers that I had sitting on my desk.  I am really starting to love using stickers and chipboard.  It is so fun, versatile, quick and easy.

Great Impressions Stamps–Sunflower Garden

Hello and Happy Monday! Today is my day to post on the Great Impressions Stamps blog.

Although it is getting a bit warmer and it looks like spring is on its way, I really felt like making a warm, summery card this weekend. Sunflowers always make me think of warm August and September days so I inked up my new Sunflower Garden (G196) from Great Impressions Stamps.

Pumpkin Spice–What Time Is It?

Hello! Today is my day to post on the Pumpkin Spice blog. My card fits our current challenge, “Time”. We would love to see your project with either a word or element that implies time.

I have to admit I was a bit stumped by the challenge at first. I could only think of clocks and watches, but I didn’t have any stamps that would fit. I finally had my “Ah ha!” moment and thought about looking up a quote about time. I found this quote from John Lennon that I really liked and the idea for my card grew from there and these beautiful Pebbles Inc. papers.

I love these new papers from Pebbles, Inc. The colors are so bright and cheery, I had to use them to chase away the spring gloom we have right now. I love each of the 18 patterns (2 pages of each) included in the 6x6 pad.

Great Impressions Stamps–Hurtin’ Puppy

Happy Monday!  Did you have a good weekend?   It looks like spring is finally on the way.  We had warmer (high 30’s) temps, rain and fog.  The snow is all melting away and some of the migratory birds have come back.  Hurray!  Soon it will be sandal weather!

Today is my day to post on the Great Impressions Stamps blog.  This pup caught my eye and I just had to color him up.  Look at that face!   Isn’t he sweet?

Great Impressions Stamps–March Challenge

Today we are kicking off our new, monthly challenge at Great Impressions Stamps.   We are challenging you to be green.  Whether you use the color green or your project is green and incorporates recycling, or both, it is entirely up to you!

2013-03-03 GI Green chall mailboxes WM

For my projects, I used the stamps Mailboxes (G465) and A Little Hello (B151).   I  used the color green and recycled Starbucks coffee sleeve for my “Green” for the challenge.    I only wanted to use one word from the sentiment stamp so I stamped it on scrap paper and cut out “Hello” for sentiment.

The clouds in the background were created using the free template from Bev Rochester.

Don’t forget to link up your “Green” project at the Great Impressions Stamps blog for your chance to win a $20 Coupon Code to the Great Impressions Stamps online store or your chance to be a guest designer.  While you are there you can see plenty of inspiration from the design team and review the challenge rules.
