Pumpkin Spice–For the Bride-to-be

Hello!  Today it’s my turn to post on the Pumpkin Spice blog.    Our challenge this week is FLOWERS!  We want to see what you make with flowers.  This should be an easy one!

For my project, I decided to make a card for a bridal shower using papers and twine from Shop Pumpkin Spice

2013-05-22 PSS Flower bride card WM

Sadly, I wasn’t able to give my card to the bride.  After I finished taking my photos, I spilled my huge cup of water on my desk and the card was wrecked.   I hate when that happens!

Don’t forget to link up your project at the Pumpkin Spice blog.

Thank you for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Gorgeous card Cheryl! Too bad it was ruined. I'm so glad I always have a (closed) water bottle on my table. With several cats in the house, including a few that have no problem with jumping on tables, glasses of water are defintely accident prone. Of course, I could still spill any coffee or tea (fingers crossed this won't happen on a finished project). And I would hate to have to recreate the same card. Chances are it won't turn out as great as the first version (or maybe we only THINK it's not).

Beautiful card and so sweet I love the whole look.
Bummer on the water wrecking the card. I make sure any liquids I drink are in containers with a lid that I have to push something to get the coffee or water out. I had fears of that before happening so changed the containers.
I love your work. Stunning.

OH NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sorry to hear about the mishap with this card!!!!! That SUCKS!!!

Last week I colored an image for about AN HOUR and then decided to spritz some spray for a background and totally ruined all the coloring. Into the garbage it went! UGH.

BUT...........it was gorgeous! Hopefully you can at least show her what she WOULD of had! LOL

What a beautiful card, with coloring we mostly think of as seasonal, and yet not seasonal one tiny bit !! I LOVE IT! I have ruined many a card myself, but mostly when they have fallen on the floor and had the misfortune of being tramped upon 80 or 90 times ... lol So glad you joined us this week at The Kraft Journal for our Celebrations theme !

What a gorgeous card! Its a shame it was destroyed but you could print out the photo and then frame it for the bride. It has a great story and shows the love it carried. As always we at Mema's Crafts appreciate you taking the time to visit us and to play with us. Good Luck and come again real soon.
