Pet Sympathy

My sister in-law recently lost 2 of her cats so I made her a sympathy card using Meljen’s Designs “Kitty Angel”.

2012-12-19 MJD Kitty sympathy WM

I experimented with coloring on kraft paper for this card.  I’m not sure if I love the results but it was a learning experience.

Last week was also a hard week for my family.  We lost Allie who was a member of our family for over 14 years.    It was such a sad day.    Below are a few photos of my girl.  We miss her.

You guys sure have had it rough lately! Losing two family members must have been hard for your SIL. I'm sure this card did help her. The coloring on kraft looks great! It is so different than on white, right?

Love the pawprint tag :)

What a great card. It is so hard to lose a beloved pet, your SIL will certainly appreciate your kindness. (I made a scrapbook about my schnauzer after I had to put him down - it really helped to heal the hurt - I still miss him & it's been 6yrs now, so glad I had all those photos).
Thanks for entering your card in our challenge over at Meljen's Designs. sending hugs
