One Little Christmas Tree

The entire time I was working on my card, the song “One Little Christmas Tree” was going through my head.   Do you remember that one?  (If not, you can hear it here.)  “One little Christmas tree can light up a home….”  Isn’t it perfect with this cute image?

Speaking of this cute image, did you get a chance to download this from the Whimsy and Stars Studio blog a couple of weeks ago?   If not, it’s too late now but make sure you sign up as a follower so that you don’t miss out on any future freebies.   (You can also keep in touch in the Whimsy & Stars Studio group on Facebook HERE.)

I tried something different (for me) again.  This card fits in a business sized envelope.  I also wanted to use the negative space from the die cut letters.    The only difficulty that I had was running the PTI card stock through my printer.  Although I love their paper, my printer is not a fan and doesn’t want to run it through with out jamming.

I hope you have a fabulous week!  Thank you for stopping by.

This is what my tree will look like this year if I get one!!!

I can see how the PTI paper would get stuck in a printer - for sure! But I love the negative space!!!

The tall, narrow shape of your card is a nice diversion from the plethora of A2 cards. The warm color scheme you chose is great. Thanks for sharing your work in this week's Sweet 'n Sassy Digi Challenge.

LOVE your adorable little tree and think your #10 size card is AWESOME. Nice to have variety and mix it up every now & then! Can imagine how difficult it would be to get PTI's thick paper through most printers. Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog too!!!
