Thank You Bunches

I love all the sunflowers that you can see every where this time of year.  Unfortunately the sunflowers in our back yard did not do so well this summer.  I think the drought and the chipmunks did them in.

Since I don’t have any in my yard, I’ll have to settle for images of sunflowers.    Over the weekend, I decided to color the Whimsy and Stars Studio image “Sunflower Teapot”.

  • Papers:  Neenah Crest solar white CS, Papertrey kraft and dark chocolate CS, Jillibean Soup Dutch Mustard paper pad
  • Tools:  Copic markers
  • Embellishments:  misc. rick-rack, button & twine,  Jillibean Soup Dutch Mustard die cuts

I don't know how you did it, but the centers of those sunflowers look terrific. This is the prettiest vase of flowers. Beautiful vase as well. :) Your card makes me so excited for FALL!!!!

Gorgeous! Love the depth you've created especially in the flower heads. I think your chipmunks may have been communicating with the field mice in my yard...the mice took out half my sunflowers!

I love sunflowers too Cheryl...we used to have them right outside our kitchen window & the goldfinches would be all over them in the fall devouring the seeds! It was a wonderful sight! Love your card!
