Paper and Such “Wings & Things” Challenge

Today we have a new Paper and Such challenge for you!  The new theme is “Wings & Things”.

As I mentioned before, I just love the Wings and Such stamp set and have just a ton of ideas about projects that I want to make with it.  So when I found out that our new challenge was “Wings & Things”, I had to use pull out this set again.

I tried something a little different for me.  Do you see the misting?  And check it out, hardly any layers.  Even though this card is out of my comfort zone, I just love how it turned out.

Beautiful card Cheryl. I would not have noticed the lack of layers had you not pointed it out. Very clean and simple yet looks like it has a lot of layers.

I would never have guessed that this is out of your comfort zone - definitely out of mine, though. But I think it's great to push one's limits - that's how we develop our card making skills. Anyway , this card turned out beautiful! The mist is a lovely detail.

I'm finding it so inpirational to be able to see other people's work and to be challenged to try new things (and buy new supplies LOL). I just love how your card turned out, Cheryl. Love the misting (haven't tried that myself) and the CAS design, and that embossed PP border is so effective!

Every once in awhile, it's really fun to try new things, isn't it? Really love how the misting and stamping came out here. It's got a great old timey look that I just love. The embossed panel and bits of scalloped edging add elegance to the design. A perfect shabby chic creation! Love it!
