Another Patriotic Card

Is it too late to post another patriotic card?  I hope not because I have one more.

It was too hot on July 4th to spend much time outside so I was able to sneak off to my craft room for a little bit.   Since I was in a patriotic mood, I decided to make one  more  quick, patriotic card.

2012-07-10 WSS Amelie card WM

I used Washi tape on this card.   I am really starting to love Washi tape and think I’m going to have to add it to my list of favorite things.   It is so fun and easy to use and adds a pop of color and pattern to your project.  I have to admit, I’ve been a bit of a hoarder so now I am making an effort to actually use the Washi tape, not just admire it in the jar.

Here is pic of my jar of Washi tape.  (I took it with my phone because I was too lazy to run up stairs for my camera.)

Before I go, I wanted to show you the entire Amelie image because I used just a portion of her on my project.  Isn’t she sweet?

Thank you for stopping by!  I hope you have a wonderful day!

oh Cheryl, this is precious! I saw it over on the MIM blog when I was posting a card for the challenge there. I personally think you can post patriotic cards all year long! especially if they are as cute as this one! grins!

aren't washi tapes so addicting?! I only have about a dozen, but I find that I'm trying to come up with ways to use them on everything I make these days.

That is one sweet looking image and the card is very cute. I don't think it's too late to ever do any holiday card... you can always send it late or keep it for next year. I haven't gotten my hands on washy tape but it looks really nice and your jar oh my you have so many and they all fit there! Looks great though my ribbons... woooo don't even have a place for them so they're just "thrown" in the Michael's bag lol and I just grab the one I need... ribbons and thread for my sewing machine are the only things I don't have a "place" for in my crafty corner.

Thank you for participating on a Jackson's Digital Expressions challenge.
