Gigi’s Mother’s Day

First off, let me apologize for the short post.  I worked out this evening and when I was getting out of the shower I realized one of my earrings was missing.  I was really upset because my hubby gave them to me for our first anniversary and I wear them all the time.    So I spent the time that I would usually use to type up my blog post crawling around, looking in the drain, calling all the places I stopped on the way home hoping to find my earring.    The good news is that I eventually found it (Yeah!) but now I don’t have a lot of time to play on my computer.

I made this Mother’s Day card with my Mother In-law in mind.   This sweet image reminds me of my daughter.   I decided to play with some of my paints and distress this card a little.

Lovely card, Cheryl. Love the sweet image and soft colours, and the subtle inking.
I'm very glad to hear you found your earring again. I discovered I had lost one of my favourites after a visit to the hairdresser's over a year ago. My husband went back (I had a deadline to meet) and the owner turned the place upside down, but all she could find was the fastening thingy, not the earring itself. It still bugs me sometimes that I lost it.
