Our visitor and a few reminders

No crafty eye candy to share with you today but I do have a picture of our Easter visitor. He has been hanging out under our bird feeders every day since we first saw him on Sunday. I think he is an escapee from a hunt club that is not too far away.

I'll leave you with a few of reminders:

  • You until noon EST today to get in on the Meljen's Designs blog hop. One lucky winner will receive a $10 gift certificate to Meljen's Designs new store. (More info HERE)
  • You still have until 11:59 EST to get in on Meljen's Designs first challenge. (HERE) This week's challenge is "Anything Goes". You do not need to use a Meljen's Designs image.
  • Join the Meljen's Designs group on Papercraft Planet (HERE) to get the 400 member freebie.
  • Check out Melissa's blog and get your Monday freebies.
  • I will not have a Lindsay's Stamp Stuff posting on Monday, but on Tuesday we will be kicking off the Lindsay's Stamp Stuff Hop, Shop, and Crop event to celebrate Lindsay's Stamp Stuff's birthday.
  • If you have not already done so, you might want to sign up at the mygrafico crop room to participate in the free crop, challenges and have a chance to get freebies and win prizes during the birthday celebration. More information on how to sign up is in my previous post HERE.
  • More information on the blog hop will be coming soon.
  • Check out Lindsay's blog and get your Thursday freebies.
That's all for today. Have a wonderful day!

Pumpkin Spice - Birthday Wishes

While scrolling through the Pumpkin Spice shop, I noticed the great prices on the Christmas/Winter themed paper pads.    The fun colors and patterns on so many of the pages could be used for just about anything.   So I pulled out the “12 Days of Christmas” paper pad from My Mind’s Eye and set to work trying to make some cards.Since I never have enough birthday cards on hand, I thought that was what I would try first.  I started by punching out butterflies from several of the many patterns in the pad.    From there, I moved them around my card until I had an arrangement that I liked, added some stitching and stickers, and, “Ta Da!”, a birthday card! Since I also need a congratulations card for a friend , I thought I would see what I could make with the same paper pad.   I really love how this card turned out.(In real life, the glitter on the “U” is more similar to the aqua color in the paper.)So what do you think?   You can make some fabulous, non-holiday cards using holiday themed pap…

Catered Crop–Seeing Red

Hello!  I’m back. I’m sorry I have been gone so long.  Things have been so hectic that I haven’t had the chance to spend time in my craft room for months.  I was able to sneak away to my craft room for a while this weekend and hope to make it a regular event.I decided to use the Catered Crop’s Seeing Red recipe swap and take the opportunity to cook up some note cards to give to my mother in-law.  Although I only had time to make 4 cards, it was great to spend time in my craft room again. As always, Linda cooked up a fabulous Pinterest board to help get our creative mojo flowing.   Click on the photo below to go to her Seeing Red inspiration board.Don’t forget to link up your Seeing Red creations at the Catered Crop.Thank you for stopping by!Supplies:Stamps:  Fancy Flourishes & Little Labels from Papertrey Ink Inks:  Close To My Heart Hollyhock & Papertrey Ink Kraft inks Papers:  Papertrey white CS, My Mind’s Eye Miss Caroline Dolled Up 6x6 paper pad, misc. scrap red CS, Starbuc…
