Good Coffee, Good Friend

My friend Scrap-it-girl let me borrow some of her Bella stamps. So this past week end I broke out a never been opened paper pack that had been sitting in my stash and made a card. I also used my new Hero Arts stamp (won in some blog candy) for the sentiment.
.
I am still getting used to my new prismacolor markers. Some of the colors bleed outside the lines (especially the blue). I would love any tips you have to share.

Challenges for this card:

Supplies:

  • Stamps: Lattebella, seniment from HeroArts sparkle clear: Coffee
  • Ink: Momento Tuxedo Black, Stampin' Up Close to Cocoa
  • Papers & CS: Close to My Heart Best Friends Forever, Georgia Pacific CS
  • Embellishments & Tools: Prismacolor markers, gemstones from HeroArts & Basic Gray

oh she is darling. i'd love to be that thin!!! well not quite THAT thin - lol.

have you tried a copics blender pen (#0). you can push the color back into the lines with it.

hope you have a sunshiny day and while i'm here............ thank you so much for all your encouragement, support and absolutely wonderful comments. i always look forward to your visits.

hugs :)

I don't see any bleeding but I found to stay a hair inside the lines on the GP will help tremendosly, also you can take the clear blender and color outside of the image where the bleed it up to the stamped line and push the marker back where it should be, works like magic!

Beautiful card and it works perfectly with the sentiment. Thanks so much for sharing. X

Love the card! Agree with the others on using a blender to push the color back in. When it's really really bad, I use an exacto knife and gently scrape away the offending area.

have you changed to a different paper....yes, of course you did.
do you have a spray fixative?
anyway I like your card and the new papers. Is that SB she's drinking?????

Super cute Cheryl...The image is great, but so are the papers! Yes, try a blender, that helps and I try to outline an image in grey or light blue and that masks the goofs too :)Your card looks great to me!

Very nice layout Cheryl. I love the springy colors you used, the sentiment will get "borrowed" as I have a BFF who LOVES everything coffee. Thanks for such great job.

Hey Cheryl -thought I would stop in to say Hello and also tell you how cute this card is. I like the past commenters agree with the blender pen to push the color back. I also try to stay just inside the line so there is room for color to bleed a little to the line. Does that make sense? I think your doing a great job with them.
